God's Little Promises

Ages 0-5 years old; directed by Hannah Haug: Offered during every service in the Small Group hallway. They are taught about God through interactive, Biblical teaching, worship, and media. God is not boring and no kid is ever too young for a personal relationship with God! 

They help lead in worship the last Sunday Night service of the month, during our Youth Emphasis Service. ​

A private nursery is also available for parents with infants. The nursery is also equipped with a private bathroom and is located off of the foyer, across from the Small Group hallway entrance.

Newport City Kidz

Ages 6-12 years old; directed by June and Sandy Howard: Designed specifically with your child in mind, they experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in creative and relevant ways. Using a small group/large group approach, we throw everything "normal" out the window and show the kids who God is through Biblical teaching, worship, media, games, and much more!

​Our juniors help lead in worship the last Sunday Evening service of every month and also performs a yearly Christmas program.

Summit Students

Summit Students are ages 13-18 and are very involved in different ministries within the church. They spend a lot of time together through various events as well as social events outside of church gatherings. The last Sunday night of each month is our Youth Emphasis Service, where our Kid and Student Ministries take lead of the service! Summit students gather together for Small Group on Sunday Mornings at 10:00a as well as take one weekend trip annually to Forward Conference in Atlanta, GA.  Summit is a great way to get connected, get involved, and grow in Christ while being alongside other like-minded students of the same age!​ Summit is led by our Student Pastors, Nathaniel and Lauren Woolum.

Unrestrained Young Adults

Unrestrained is the young adult ministry of Newport City Church and is led by Pastors Zach and Sarah Prewitt. It exists to offer a community within the church that is conducive for young adults to develop as Jesus followers who are resiliently faithful and Spirit-led. The young adults gather together the last Friday of every month (February-August) for food, games, and a time of worship/devotion. They host an annual spring revival and fall retreat. All events are open to all young adults! Follow us on our socials to stay up to date and to connect. Men's Ministries

Men of Integrity, led by Larry Haug, is a ministry designed to develop strong men with like-minded faith who reflect the character of God. A main highlight for the men is their yearly retreat to Potter's Ranch in Union, KY, which features a weekend full of outdoor activities, great food and fellowship, worship, and a special message. They also enjoy numerous other times of fellowship, relationship building, and retreats throughout the year. If you are a man looking to join other men of integrity, we welcome you! Women's Ministries

Women in Faith Together is our Women's Ministry and is led by Sis. Kathy Woolum. "The Women" gather throughout the year for times of fellowship and relationship building. One special highlight that the women always look forward to is a Spa Day, hosted by Sis. Kathy at the Woolum House. The women enjoy a great day of food, free manicures, pedicures, massages, and a special message. We would love to have you join us for our times of refreshing!

Young at Heart

Young at Heart is our Senior Adults ministry, geared for those ages 55 and up. Directed by Bro. Gorman and Faye Scalf, they coordinate a number of trips, fellowship gatherings, and retreats. For more information on upcoming Young at Heart events, please stop by the Welcome Center in the foyer.

Newport City Outreach

Newport City Outreach is our outreach and evangelistic ministry. The ministry works alongside local schools to help provide assistance and support to students and staff, coordinates serving opportunities for church members at local soup kitchens, oversees street ministry, and much more! NCO is directed by Kevin and Angie Long, along with Eric Young who directs the street ministry team.
